The majority of the world is struggling, it doesn't matter who you are or where you live. Whether financial, emotional, cultural, or a basic desire to survive, we are no longer working to live life, we are living to work. I believe these are the biggest reasons why more and more of society has taken on the "me philosophy", so much so that our world became "a world of ones instead one world".
That's why I believe it is crucial that we start to learn more about each others philosophies, beliefs and cultures. This is the only way we will ever truly be able to see that at our core, we are all the same. We have the same desires, goals, passions, fears and beliefs. It doesn't matter what race, religion, culture or geographic location, we all have the same basic desire and that is to simply be happy.
Not to long ago I began reading about different remarkable and inspiring people and this has allowed me to experience life as seen through their eyes. I am beginning to see reasons why we understand so little about the world around us as well as things we can do to change this in positive ways. I've also been discovering some of the many people who have and are already creating positive change.
The "me philosophy" is shifting and it’s because of people just like us, in all areas/levels of success in life who are showing others the way. We are becoming "one world instead of a world of ones". We all have the ability to create change in ourselves and our families, for some our communities and countries. With each positive change, the world becomes stronger. One of the things I have been inspired to do is to share some of the stories, ideas and lives of extraordinary and courageous people who have and are showing us ways to change the world.
Unique because of time, place, person or reason; all are creating positive change as they passionately pursue a life of happiness. I think this may be the most important, natural way to positively change the world. I hope you find these stories inspiring to.
